Answer: It is quite possible to get a contract on your house the same day, providing you find an investor who is interested in purchasing your home. Usually the investor will want to have at least a few days option period, in order for them to evaluate and estimate any necessary repairs on the property.

Now, if the property has a lot of equity and the investor will be getting a very good deal, it is possible that they could buy your house in the same day. They would of course have to be willing to forego a title policy, which would insure their clear ownership of the property. Many house buyers are not prepared to work like that, but it often comes down to the deal itself and what is at stake as to how much the investor is willing to risk. If the investor is having to put little or no cash into the deal, they may be quite happy to take over the property, even with some risks.

I'm guessing that you have a foreclosure coming in the next few days and that is why you need to sell house today. You should also explore other possibilities, such as negotiating for a delay in the sale with the bank.
