Buy and sell a house?

Answer: You can sell a house quickly sometimes in only days, or weeks (to an investor), but buying a house is going to depend on your own financing situation. Typically the conventional loan process takes about 30 days to complete, but with some companies it is getting faster.

There are mortgage companies who can complete a transaction in as little as a week, but that is providing the title company, appraiser, inspector, can all get their work done immediately as well.

You can buy and sell a house faster if you already have the house you want to buy and then sell your house to an investor. If you hope to get full retail value for your house, then you probably not be selling to an investor and would be looking at the traditional retail market for selling.
